Brian Flis

Brian Flis has extensive work experience, starting with their most recent position as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at LF Bioenergy, where they partnered with farmers to create renewable energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Brian also co-founded and was a partner at OperatingCulture, a suite of SaaS tools that enhance organizational performance. Flis was the Managing Director and Chief Development Officer at Lavister, a consultancy firm that helps energy, chemical, and services companies to operate better by improving asset and business performance. Flis co-founded and served as Chief Financial Officer at ParOne. Additionally, Flis led the Energy and Manufacturing consulting practice and grew the consulting team as the Managing Director at Endeavor Management. Brian also worked at Wilson Perumal & Company in several roles, including as a Manager, Case Team Leader, and Strategy and Operations Consultant. Before that, Flis was a Supplier Quality Manager and Senior Financial Analyst at Eaton Corporation and held various roles at United States Air Force, including Information Operations Research Manager, Flight Controls Program Manager/Production Manager, and Deputy Program Manager/Flight Controls Unit Engineer.

Brian Flis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 2000. Brian then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003. In 2006, they received an MBA in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Brian also has additional certifications as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from ASQ and completion of the Newchip Seed and Series A Accelerator from Newchip Accelerator.
