Steve DeBruyn has a extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and energy storage industries. Steve is currently the Chief Operating Officer at LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Ambri, where they contributed to the development of a novel battery system for grid-scale energy storage. Steve also worked at NEC Energy Solutions as the Vice President of Operations, where they successfully optimized all major organizational operations and established critical supplier agreements. Steve has experience in change management activities and has led initiatives such as facility relocations and implementation of ERP systems. Earlier in their career, Steve held positions at Eppendorf, GSI Group, and Teradyne, where they demonstrated expertise in process improvement, product release campaigns, and project management. Steve has a strong background in manufacturing engineering and has been involved in new product development and yield improvement projects.
Steve DeBruyn completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Operations Research, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1989. Later, they pursued an MBA in General Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, which they completed in 2002.
