Simon Engler has extensive work experience in various roles. Simon started their career at Sigma-Aldrich, where they worked as a kaufm. Angestellter from 1996 to 2001. Simon then joined LGT as an Application Engineer from 2002 to 2006. After that, Simon worked at March International Limited as an IT Manager from 2006 to 2011. Simon returned to LGT and held the position of HRMS Process- & Project-Manager from 2011 to 2020. Following that, Simon joined Zur Rose Group as a Senior Product Owner Workday from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are working at LGT Private Banking as the Head HR Services since December 2022. Simon's expertise lies in HRIT project management, HR strategy development, HR business analysis, and Workday administration and configuration.

Simon Engler attended several universities and institutions for their education. In 2023, they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Arbeitsrecht at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. In 2022, they obtained another CAS from the same institution, this time in Compensation & Performance. In 2021, they completed a CAS in Strategisches Human Capital Management & Analytics at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences as well. In 2018, they earned a CAS in Führung und Steuerung der IT from FHS St.Gallen University of Applied Sciences. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Business Process Engineering at the same institution in 2016. Lastly, in 2011, they obtained a Wirtschaftsinformatiker HF degree from Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum Buchs Sargans.
