Theadocia Austen has extensive experience in event coordination, currently serving as the Public Events Coordinator at the American Folklife Center within the Library of Congress since January 1990. Prior to this role, Theadocia was a singer at Slaveya from 1990 to 2012. Theadocia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian, Theater, and English from The University of Kansas, and also studied at The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute from 1986 to 1987.
