Matt Nethery is a Senior Data Scientist at Life Edit Therapeutics since February 2022, previously holding the position of Data Scientist II. Prior to this role, Matt Nethery worked as a researcher and PhD student in the Barrangou lab at North Carolina State University from August 2016 to February 2022, focusing on CRISPR biology. Matt Nethery's earlier experience includes a decade at Premier Inc. as a Software Engineer, where full stack software systems for healthcare analytics were developed and managed. Matt Nethery obtained a PhD in Functional Genomics with a specialization in Microbial Genetics from North Carolina State University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Appalachian State University.
