David Steinwedel

David Steinwedel has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. David is currently the Sr. Director of Product at Life360 since 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Director of Product at Smule from 2015-2021. In this role, they led a cross-functional team responsible for music collaboration and also served as a Sr. Product Manager, focusing on expanding the user base and optimizing the platform for growth markets. Before joining Smule, David worked at KIXEYE as a Product Manager, where they played a key role in the development and management of mobile games. David also co-founded BitFlip Games, a studio that focused on building smaller-scale games and had consulting contracts with EA and AMD.

David Steinwedel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Davis. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in October 2013 and June 2013, respectively.
