Juan Sahagun

Juan Sahagun is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Sr. Staff Package Design Engineer at Lightmatter since January 2024. Previously, Juan accumulated over a decade of experience at Intel Corporation as a Sr. Package Design Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and managing package layouts for the Xeon CPU Family and ensuring project milestones and deliverables were met. Before Intel, Juan worked at Freescale Semiconductor as a Systems and Application Engineer, focusing on LED drivers, power management ICs, and system solutions integration. Juan also led the establishment of the Power Management and Motor Control group in Mexico. Earlier in the career, Juan was a Manager and Technical Leader at GRUPO ENERTEC SA DE CV, specializing in the design and validation of surge suppression and lighting protection systems. Juan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, earned between 1999 and 2003.
