Derek Schlea is a seasoned professional in the field of ecological engineering, currently serving as Principal at LimnoTech since June 2011, after progressing through roles including Senior Ecological Engineer and Project Engineer. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at The Ohio State University from September 2009 to June 2011, an Environmental Engineer Intern at Battelle from October 2008 to May 2011, and a Summer Intern at the Ohio EPA from June 2006 to September 2008. Derek Schlea holds a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from The Ohio State University (2005-2009).
