Goksel Genc is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and infrastructure development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at LinkedIn since May 2013, Goksel focuses on redefining LinkedIn's Compute Infrastructure and leading the strategy for the service infrastructure that supports all service developers. Previously, Goksel held various engineering management positions at LinkedIn, including Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included enhancing service frameworks and overseeing traffic infrastructure. Prior to LinkedIn, Goksel worked at Microsoft from October 2005 to May 2013 as a Senior Development Lead and Software Design Engineer, contributing to major initiatives for SharePoint applications within the Office 365 ecosystem.
