Daniela Rus

Daniela Rus is an accomplished academic and industry leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and robotics. Currently serving as Director at Liquid AI, SymphonyAI, Symbotic, and Themis AI since 2022-2023, Daniela has also held prominent positions at MIT since 2003, including Director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), and Deputy Dean of Research at the Schwarzman College of Computing. Prior experience includes a professorship at Dartmouth College from 1994 to 2003. Daniela holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Robotics from Cornell University, obtained between 1987 and 1993.
