P.eng Miho Sakata

Miho Sakata, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Global MBD Manager at Litens Automotive Group since December 2017. In this role, Miho is responsible for defining the company's vision and strategy for Model-Based Definition (MBD) and for overseeing the transformation of the global organization and its suppliers to a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE). Prior to this position, Miho held the role of Engineering Support Lead at Omron Automotive Technologies Inc. from August 2009 to November 2017, where responsibilities included supervising a team focused on CAE support, CAD software upgrades, and PLM data management. Miho's career at Omron began in July 1994, holding various roles as a CAD Engineer and Technical Translator, contributing to global standardization projects and 3D CAD software implementation. Miho holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Tokyo University of Science and a Master of Engineering from the University of Toronto.
