Tara Nielsen

Tara Nielsen is a highly experienced professional in the fields of food safety and quality systems, currently serving as the Manager of Food Safety and Quality Systems at Little Spoon since May 2023. Prior to this role, Tara was the Quality Manager at Palmate from May 2022 to March 2023. Extensive experience at Beech-Nut Nutrition Company includes positions such as Quality & Food Safety Manager, Food Safety Manager, Food Technologist, Associate Documentation Specialist, and Quality Specialist, spanning from June 2010 to May 2022. Tara began her career as a DNA Analyst at Therion International from May 2005 to November 2008 and as a Pharmacy Technician at Omnicare from February 1999 to August 2005. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Food Safety from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and Technology from The Sage Colleges, completed in 2005.
