Tyler Hampton

Tyler Hampton is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Space SRE at Loft Orbital since January 2025, Tyler has held significant roles at companies such as Grabango as a Sr. Systems Engineer and Code for San Jose as Project Lead for the Calidrought initiative. Previous positions include Sr. Systems Engineer at Shutterfly, Inc., and Systems Engineer at Opower, where Tyler focused on IT infrastructure and system reliability. Early career highlights include serving as a DevOps Engineer at InsideVault and a Systems Administrator at Apollo Group, among other roles. Tyler began a teaching career at Imagination Unlimited, LLC, and started in the technology field as a Repair Technician at Electronic Recyclers International, Inc. Tyler is an alumnus of Hallmark Charter, earning a high school diploma, and attended De Anza College.
