Valerie Ross has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory affairs. Valerie started their career as a Legal/Regulatory Manager at AT&T, where they managed a team and ensured compliance with state and federal laws regarding credit and collections. As a significant contributor to cross-functional teams, Valerie was involved in policy and strategic initiatives related to credit and collections decisions, including the development of specialized policies for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Valerie then joined Gateway Energy Services Corporation as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs/Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across all departments, including sales, marketing, and billing. Valerie also represented Gateway at state utility commission meetings, rulemakings, inquiries, and audits. Valerie reviewed all customer documentation and marketing materials for legal compliance.
Currently, Valerie is the VP of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Logical Buildings. Their responsibilities include ensuring company policies and processes comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Valerie works closely with regulatory agencies and utilities to obtain the necessary licenses, certifications, and registrations. Valerie also drafts contracts, policy documents, and reviews marketing materials for compliance.
Valerie Ross attended Rutgers Law School from 1990 to 1994. During this time, no specific degree or field of study is provided. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Management/Quantitative Analysis from Fairleigh Dickinson University between 1985 and 1990.
