John Finnegan has a significant work experience in the telecommunications industry. John started their career at AT&T in the year 2000 and held various roles over the years. From 2000 to 2008, they served as the Senior Vice President at AT&T Global Services, leading the company's sales, technical, and support teams outside the US. John was responsible for sales results, strategy, segmentation, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives in most of the world. During this time, they developed the Global Account Management model, which aligned account strategy, CRM data, compensation, and product integration with US-based multinational corporations.
From 2008 to 2020, John served as the Senior Vice President at AT&T Signature Client Group, where they led the company's relationship with its Fortune 500 customers, generating over $16 billion in annual revenues. John successfully transformed AT&T's sales coverage model to a vertical orientation for its top 2500 customers, establishing a market share leadership position in the networking solutions business market.
In 2021, John became the Former AT&T Senior Vice President before joining Lokker in 2023 as the Chief Revenue Officer.
John Finnegan studied at Tufts University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Boston College.
