Shashikanth Viswanathan

Shashikanth Viswanathan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in indirect taxation and financial processes. Currently serving as Director of the Indirect Tax COE at LSEG since June 2019, Shashikanth previously held the role of Senior Manager in indirect tax reporting. Prior to LSEG, Shashikanth spent over a decade at Thomson Reuters managing indirect taxation processes and VAT filings for the APAC and EMEA regions. Early career experience includes working at GENPACT in fixed assets, billing, and accounts payable processes, as well as roles at ICICI Capital Services Limited and U.Satyanarayana & Co., where responsibilities included customer service, audit participation, and tax return filing. Shashikanth holds a Commerce Graduate degree in Accounting and Taxation from Nagarjuna University.
