VP Of Engineering at LoopUp

Chris Howard has a diverse work experience. Chris started their career at EdExchange in 2011 as a Co-Founder and CTO. The company aimed to change the textbook buying and selling experience for students at Edinburgh University by creating an intuitive online platform and physical spaces on campus. EdExchange successfully saved students money and raised funds for on-campus charities.

In 2013, Chris joined LoopUp as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer, where they implemented a new .NET-based data infrastructure and supported the development of real-time React.js and Vue.js applications. Chris then progressed to the role of Principal Software Engineer in 2018.

Currently, Chris holds the position of VP of Engineering at LoopUp, overseeing the implementation of the company's flagship Cloud Telephony product. Chris leads a high-performing Engineering team, helping them build and release world-class software.

Chris Howard attended The University of Edinburgh from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
