Brian'smost recent role was as Vice President of Food Safety and Quality at Lopez Foods, Inc, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Keystone Foods for 17 years, where they held various roles including Vice President of Food Safety and Quality, Senior Director of Government Affairs, Global Director of Regulatory Affairs, Senior Corporate Food Safety Manager, and Corporate Food Safety Manager.
Brian Covington has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Texas A&M University, which they obtained in 1995. Brian then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Animal Nutrition at the same university from 1995 to 1997. Later, they earned another Master of Science (M.S.) degree, this time in Meat Science, from Texas A&M University, which they completed in 2001.
