Bruce Owen

Assistant Principal Viola at Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra

Bruce Owen is a highly experienced violist and co-founder of Musaica, a non-profit chamber ensemble established in 2006 to enrich the New Orleans area with diverse chamber music performances. Bruce has served as an instructor of viola at Loyola University since 1999, while also holding the position of Assistant Principal Viola with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since the same year. Additionally, Bruce has been a Section Viola with the Colorado Music Festival since 1992. Bruce's academic background includes a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Viola performance, both earned at the University of Cincinnati.
