Maxwell Paulus

Maxwell Paulus is a highly skilled horn player and educator with extensive experience in orchestral performance and teaching. Serving as the Second Horn for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since September 2022, Maxwell also holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Horn at Lamar University. Additionally, Maxwell has been a freelance musician and educator since 2012, and previously worked as a Customer Service Representative for the Houston Ballet. Other notable roles include Substitute Horn with the New World Symphony and Associate Principal Horn with the American Youth Symphony. Maxwell's education includes a Master of Music in Horn Performance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from UCLA.
