Elektra Thompson

Elektra Thompson, Ed.S, currently serves as an Executive Functioning Specialist at The Lovett School, focusing on supporting Upper School students with organizational, planning, and study skills, while also providing strategies for test anxiety preparation. In addition to facilitating skill-building lessons, Elektra analyzes psycho-educational evaluations to recommend appropriate accommodations and collaborates with parents and stakeholders to enhance educational solutions. Elektra is also the owner of Couregeous Counseling & Consulting, which offers customized educational solutions and advocacy for students across various grade levels. Previous roles include being a school counselor and 504 coordinator at The Ron Clark Academy, and a professional school counselor at the International Academy of Smyrna, among various other positions in educational and counseling settings. Elektra holds an Ed.S in Professional School Counseling and a Master of Education from Georgia State University, as well as a B.S. in Operations and Information Systems Management from Northern Illinois University.
