Lara Kauffman

Lara Kauffman has extensive experience in development, alumni engagement, athletics, coaching, and education. Currently serving as a Development Officer and Director of Alumni Engagement at The Lovett School since 1999, Kauffman has actively engaged over 8,000 alumni, collaborating with board members and volunteers. Previous roles at The Lovett School include Assistant Director of Athletics, overseeing a 72-team program, and as a Girls Basketball Coach from 1999 to 2009. Kauffman began a career in education by teaching middle school educational technology and managing a database for report cards. Prior experience includes working at Turner Broadcasting System as a Training Coordinator, where development and management of IT training were key responsibilities, and serving as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Georgia Tech women's basketball team. Kauffman started a managerial role at Burlington Industries overseeing a team in the menswear division. Education was obtained from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, earning a B.S. in Management.
