Jerrod Penn is an accomplished academic with a specialty in Agricultural Economics, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University since January 2018, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor. Prior to this role, Jerrod Penn was a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the University of Kentucky Agricultural Economics from July to December 2017, and gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at the USDA-Economic Research Service in 2015, focusing on spatial analysis for grain transportation networks within the Markets and Trade Economics Division. Jerrod Penn earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky, completing the degree in 2017.
