Thomas Lee is an accomplished hardware engineer specializing in mechanisms, currently contributing to closures mechanisms for the Lucid Air Sapphire and Lucid Gravity at Lucid Motors since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a mechatronics engineer at Flexiv Ltd. from June 2020 to March 2023, where Thomas led the design and testing of robotic end-effector grippers and developed manufacturing methods for novel micromaterials. Earlier, Thomas interned as a research assistant at the Stanford Biomechatronics Lab from June to October 2019, focusing on electro-adhesive clutches for exoskeleton robotics. A graduate of Stanford University, Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2022, after completing secondary education at Aragon High School.
