Currently serving as Senior Firmware and Verification Manager at LUCID Vision Labs, Inc. since January 2017, Neerav Patel leads firmware design and product testing while mentoring a team of engineers. Previously, as Firmware Manager at Pointgrey Research from August 2008 to November 2016, Neerav Patel designed firmware for various camera systems and also led teams in developing complex embedded systems. Neerav Patel's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at FPInnovations, focusing on machine vision applications, and Software Engineer positions at the University of British Columbia Robotics Lab and IDEA's Inc., where design of wireless device prototypes took place. Neerav Patel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, obtained in 2004.
