Umesh Maheshwari

Umesh Maheshwari is an accomplished computer scientist with extensive experience in storage technology and research. Currently serving as Chief Scientist at LucidLink since September 2021, Umesh previously worked as an Independent Researcher at Chiku Research and held the role of Chief Scientist for Primary Storage at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where programs were created to aid engineers in leveraging new technologies. As co-founder and CTO of Nimble Storage, Umesh led the design of the first storage array that combined HDDs and SSDs. Earlier in the career at DataDomain, Umesh served as Technical Director, developing core components of the deduplication engine. Umesh holds both a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
