Sheema Rahmanseresht, Ph.D., currently serves as an Application Scientist at LUMICKS since January 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Vermont from June 2016 to January 2020, focusing on single molecule biophysics, and seven years as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where involvement in single molecule biophysics and laboratory teaching took place. Earlier experience includes research at the Nanostructured Coatings Company and Sharif University of Technology, where thesis work investigated the effect of SiO2 content on the self-cleaning properties of TiO2 nanostructured coatings. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on Biophysics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Sharif University of Technology.
