Rajiv Pathak

Rajiv Pathak is a seasoned professional in the field of photonics and semiconductor technology, currently serving as Senior Director at Lumileds since May 2015, overseeing worldwide die development activities for LED solutions. Previously, Rajiv held positions as Sr Device Engineering Manager at Coherent, where leadership involved the design and processing of semiconductor lasers, and Device Engineering Manager at Lasertel, where a significant increase in epitaxy capacity was achieved. Early career experiences include Senior Manager of Epitaxy at Bandwidth9, Inc., Principal Engineer at Lasertron, and Postdoctoral Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories, contributing to advancements in laser technologies and high-speed switching networks. Rajiv holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
