Leah Burak currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Luminate Bank, overseeing regulatory compliance, internal audit, deposit operations, and loan operations since May 2024. Prior to this role, Leah was the Chief Operations Officer at Citizens Independent Bank from December 2012 to April 2024, managing various functions including compliance, customer service, and project management. Leah began their career as the Compliance Officer/BSA Officer at Lake Community Bank, where Leah held the position of Assistant Vice President from February 1998 to December 2012. Leah holds a degree in Bank Management from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, as well as a BA in Sociology of Law, Crime, and Deviance from the University of Minnesota.
