Luminous Computing
Tom Baehr-Jones is an American physicist włho has made numerous contributions in the fields of nanophotonics, silicon photonics, and computational electromagnetics. His findings have been published in Nature, Nature Photonics, Nature Materials, the EEE/OSA Journal of Lightwave Technology, and Optics Express, among nmany others. Baehr-Jones was a founder at four startup companies- Simulant, Luxtera, Elenion, and SLS, as well as at OpSIS, the first organization to offer silicon photonic multi- project wafer runs, pioneering the creation of integrated PDK's for photonics. His work has been cited over 12,000 times and he has published over 100 papers and patents. He did all of his degrees at Caltech, and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City.
