Michael Kehinde

Michael Kehinde is a dedicated firmware engineer currently working at Lunar Energy since July 2023, focusing on the development of system control and safety-critical firmware for energy storage solutions. Prior to this, Michael served as an embedded software engineer at Embark Trucks, contributing to the advancement of autonomous trucking by developing ISO 26262 compliant firmware. Michael's academic experience at McMaster University includes roles as a teaching assistant and research assistant, where significant contributions were made towards enhancing students' understanding of software engineering and developing teaching tools for safety-critical applications. Additional experience includes internships at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and McSCert, where expertise in software integration and verification of electrified propulsion systems was demonstrated. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering & Management from McMaster University.
