Alexandros Gerakis, PhD, is a Senior R&T Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology since January 2021. Concurrently, Alexandros serves as an Adjunct Professor and previously held positions as Assistant Professor and Research Assistant Professor at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Texas A&M University, starting in March 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Research Physicist at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University, alongside postdoctoral work and a PhD candidacy at University College London. Educational credentials include a PhD in Physics from University College London, an MSc in Photonics & Optoelectronic Devices from the University of St Andrews, and a BSc in Applied Mathematical & Physical Sciences from the National Technical University of Athens.
