Vili Laine

Vili Laine has extensive work experience in the legal field. Vili is currently serving as the Legal Counsel & DPO at M-Files, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this role, they were a Legal Counsel at M-Files from October 2020 to October 2021, and before that, they worked as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the same company from October 2019 to September 2020.

Before joining M-Files, Vili Laine worked as a Legal Advisor at Vazan Oy from December 2018 to September 2019. Vili gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at Suomen Arvopantti Oy from June 2017 to August 2017.

Vili Laine completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in International Law at Tallinn University from 2015 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Vili Laine obtained additional certifications. In January 2022, they earned the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. In February 2022, they also received the CIPP/E certification from the same institution.
