Ilian Despard has worked in the field of quantum technology since 2021 as a scientist for M Squared. Prior to that, they were a researcher PHD student at the University of Strathclyde from 2017 to 2019 and at Kyoto University from 2019 to 2021. Ilian also had an internship program at Barclays Investment Bank in 2016.
Ilian Despard attended the University of Strathclyde from 2012 to 2017, where they earned an Integrated Master's degree in Physics. Ilian then continued their studies at the same university from 2017 to 2021, earning a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics.
