Masashi Hagihara has extensive experience in market research and analytics, currently serving as Executive Fellow and General Manager of Global Business at Transcosmos Analytics Inc. since July 2009. Masashi also holds a position as Director of the Macromill Research Institute and is a part-time lecturer in market research at both WASEDA Business School and Aoyama Gakuin University since 2015 and 2012, respectively. Previous roles include President and COO of NetRatings Japan, Research Manager at Recruit Research, and Research Manager/Analyst at Nikkei Research, with an early career as a Representative for Nihon Keizai Shimbun Europe. Masashi completed a Bachelor of Education in Sociology and Education at The University of Tokyo from 1980 to 1984.
