James West

James West serves as the Industry Director for Public Safety, Security & Defence at Made Tech since March 2024 and as a Management Committee Member and Chair of the AI Strategy Group for Justice & Emergency Services at techUK since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Client Principal for the public sector at Thoughtworks from January 2023 to February 2024, and Head of Police & Criminal Justice Sector at Agilisys from April 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included senior leadership in consultancy engagements and establishing strategic partnerships. Additional noteworthy positions include Director at Crown Workforce Management, IT Transformation Regional Manager at the National Police Chiefs' Council, and Programme Director at Nottinghamshire Police, leading significant IT transformation projects and operational policing initiatives. James West holds a Master's Degree in Leadership and Business Management from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, completed between 2012 and 2015.
