Amit Gaikwad

Amit Gaikwad is a seasoned professional in operational excellence and continuous improvement with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently, Amit serves as the Area Head of MCL Standardization & Operations Excellence at A.P. Moller - Maersk since June 2022, following a role as the Area Continuous Improvement Manager for Cluster SAA. Prior to this, Amit worked as a Senior Operational Excellence Consultant at AIC Steel KSA, leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and training teams in various improvement methodologies. Amit's career also includes significant positions at Siemens, ABB Ltd, Lear Corporation, and Srijan Control Drives, where expertise in process planning, technology transfer, and manufacturing operations was developed. Amit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Pune University and a Diploma in Production Technology from PDVVP Polytechnic.
