Yijie Tian

Yijie Tian has a diversified work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting from 2010, Yijie worked as a Student Researcher on a project focusing on urban water supply leakage and management, conducting research and generating a nation-wide report. In 2012, Yijie continued as a Student Researcher, this time investigating sewage water treatment plants and designing treatment processes for an urban area. Yijie also gained experience as an Engineer Assistant in a river recovery project, collecting and analyzing water quality data.

From 2014 to 2015, Yijie worked as a Student Researcher and as a Social Media Editor for Brella Productions. In 2017, Yijie worked as a User Experience Designer for Freelance Designers. Building on this experience, Yijie joined M & Y Group, Inc. in 2015 as a User Research Specialist, specializing in user research.

In 2018, Yijie became a Senior Product Manager at Mafengwo.com, emphasizing their expertise in product management. Most recently, Yijie joined Shopee in 2021 as a Senior Manager of Product Management, demonstrating their leadership capabilities.

Yijie Tian pursued a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, Yijie Tian completed a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University. In 2017, Yijie Tian obtained additional education in the field of UX/UI Design from Bloc. In terms of certifications, Yijie Tian received the LEED Green Associate certification from USGBC - Chicago Chapter in March 2015. Additionally, Yijie Tian obtained the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in November 2014.
