Chris Churma

Chris Churma is an accomplished Operations and Logistics Specialist at Magic Leap, a position held since October 2021. With extensive experience in international education, Chris served as Interim Director of Field Programs and Spring 2020 Field Director for Semester At Sea / ISE, overseeing the health and safety of over 600 passengers during voyages to various countries, while managing shore excursion programs. Previous roles include Director of University Relations, where growth in sales and partnerships was achieved, and multiple leadership positions within NAFSA: Association of International Educators, culminating in a three-year elected chair role. Chris has also held senior and coordinator positions at Colorado State University, contributing to education abroad initiatives and event management. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Educational Policy & Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Business from the University of Pittsburgh. Additional studies include significant study abroad experiences through CEA CAPA Education Abroad and Semester At Sea.
