Philip Howell has a diverse work experience. Philip started their career as a Promotions/Publicity Intern at Allied Integrated Marketing in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Elm and Oak and as a Social Media Intern at Location3 Media. Philip then joined SpotX in 2012 and held various roles including Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Director of Operations. At SpotX, they focused on implementing and scaling global ad tech operations, training, and sales processes. Philip also played a key role in onboarding and scaling key publisher/advertiser accounts. In 2021, SpotX was acquired by Magnite, and Philip transitioned to the role of Director of Operations at Magnite. Since April 2022, they have been serving as the Director of Technical Operations at Magnite.

Philip Howell attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. In 2014, they also completed a program in Web Design - HTML / CSS at Galvanize - gSchool.
