Virginia Crawter has extensive experience in legal roles, currently serving as Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at Main Sequence Ventures since July 2017. Prior to this, Virginia held the position of Legal Counsel at CSIRO from March 2011 to June 2017, and worked as a Lawyer at Vodafone Group Services Limited from June 2008 to February 2011. Virginia's legal career began at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where Virginia worked as a Lawyer from February 2005 to April 2008 and as a Paralegal from December 2002 to November 2003. Virginia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Newcastle, and is pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) at UNSW. Additionally, Virginia has completed a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019 and attended the University of California, Berkeley in the same year.
