MAJORITY
Christopher Hicks is the current General Counsel at MAJORITY. Christopher has handled a wide variety of legal matters for MAJORITY, from negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, including financial services program agreements, Software-as-a-Service agreements, and international money transfer agreements, along with intellectual property matters, data privacy law (both GDPR and GLBA), customer terms of service, investment and debt financing, corporate governance, marketing law, employment law, lease agreements, and managing external litigation. Christopher excels at collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the company's needs are met. Christopher has a demonstrated ability to understand and implement a wide array of legal concepts, and to communicate those concepts to their colleagues and management.
Prior to their current position, Hicks was Legal Counsel at Rebtel for 1 year 9 months, Tunelark for 1 year 11 months, and Associate Attorney at Kern Segal & Murray, A Law Corporation for 2 years 11 months. Christopher has also worked as a Contract Attorney at the Law Offices of Charles E. Hill III for 1 year 1 month, the Law Offices of Tanya Gomerman for 3 months, and Paoli & Geerhart, LLP for 9 months. In addition, they have served as a Legal Extern at the San Francisco Superior Court for 4 months and Punzalan Law, P.C. for 2 months.
Christopher Hicks attended the University of San Francisco School of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law degree. Christopher then attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they majored in Asian Christopher'story and earned their Bachelor's degree with honors in East Asian Christopher'story. Christopher is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe and an Attorney with the California State Bar.
