Lisa earned an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. She has over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and transitional aged youth in diverse nonprofit, community, and school settings. Her favorite thing about working at Make School is being part of a team that's changing the way students receive an education. She loves being able to work directly with students and supporting them in having a positive Make School experience.

Make School is redesigning higher education for the 21st century. Its emphasis is on ensuring relevance of education for the modern economy and accessibility to students of all backgrounds. Students earn a Bachelor’s in Applied Computer Science while studying liberal arts, computer science theory, and product development.
