Rik Esselink

Rik Esselink is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in revenue management, marketing, and business development across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at Maltego Technologies since June 2025, Rik also holds positions as a Limited Partner at s16vc and a Board Member at OpenUp, focusing on go-to-market strategies. Previous roles include Chief Revenue Officer for MAPAL Group and Zenjob, as well as Managing Director for Europe at Ring and EMEA at Axon, where Rik was instrumental in building the international headquarters for Taser. Rik has a strong marketing background from a tenure at Philips, leading the Male Grooming division and achieving significant sales growth. Early career experiences include leadership roles at Liberate Technologies and TiVo. Rik holds a BA in Physics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
