Angela Wellsmith

Angela Wellsmith serves as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at The Manitowoc Company since November 2022, where responsibilities include managing legal efforts for substantial debt refinancing and participating in corporate governance. Prior to this role, Angela Wellsmith founded Wellsmith Law, LLC, providing legal advice on private placement transactions and corporate structure analysis. Angela Wellsmith has extensive experience as Senior Counsel at Kohl's Department Stores, advising multiple departments and negotiating significant technology agreements. Previous experience includes serving as a Corporate Attorney at Quarles & Brady LLP, managing acquisition documentation for private equity clients, and acting as a consultant at Accenture. Angela Wellsmith holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in Psychology from the same institution.
