Andrea Szymanski

Andrea Szymanski is an experienced professional in landscape architecture and community planning, currently serving as the Head of Open Space & City Greening for the City of Casey since September 2022. With a strong background in both leadership and technical roles, Andrea has held positions such as Co Vice President for Parks and Leisure Australia and various coordinator roles at Knox City Council, focusing on integrated social and community planning, open space, and landscape design. Previously, Andrea worked as a Senior Landscape Architect at Thompson Berrill Landscape Design and as a childcare worker. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Design in Landscape Architecture from RMIT University and has furthered education at UNSW. Known for a genuine interest in natural environments, Andrea specializes in projects that prioritize sensitive ecosystems, recreational values, and community needs.
