Oana Bota

Oana Bota is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business architecture and strategy, currently serving as AVP of Strategy & Business Architecture at Manulife since May 2022. Bota has been instrumental in leading the Business Architecture practice and driving business transformation at both the Canada Segment and on a global scale. Prior to Manulife, Bota held prominent roles at Scotiabank, Deloitte Canada, BLACKS (TELUS Retail Ltd), Cancer Care Ontario, and BMO Financial Group, establishing business architecture practices, conducting capability assessments, and facilitating strategic initiatives. With a Master of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Babes-Bolyai University, Bota has developed a strong foundation in technology and business integration throughout a diverse career, which includes early roles at Vodafone and Babes-Bolyai University.
