Arni Sigurjonsson

Arni Sigurjonsson currently serves as President and Vice President of the Board at The Federation of Icelandic Industries since April 2017. In addition, Arni has held the position of General Counsel at Marel since September 2009, overseeing the Legal & Compliance function, managing contracts, corporate governance, and legal risk management. Previous roles include Corporate Legal Counsel at Straumur Investment Bank and Legal Counsel at the University of Iceland's Faculty of Business Administration, where Arni also lectured on Securities, Company, and Financial Law. Arni's earlier experience includes working as an Associate at LOGOS Legal Services and as a Radio Host at RUV Iceland. Arni holds an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Cand. Jur in Law from Háskóli Íslands, along with a brief study at Harvard Law School in 2016.
