Amit Saurkar

Amit Saurkar currently serves as the Group Packaging Development Manager at Marico Limited since November 2023. Prior to this role, Amit was the Head of Operations for the Packaging Technology Cell at MTR Foods Private Limited from May 2017 to November 2023, where responsibilities included leading the Packaging Sustainability agenda and contributing to organizational capability development. Amit also held the position of Head of Packaging Development at MTR Foods, overseeing a diverse range of product packaging initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Manager of Packaging at The Kraft Heinz Company, where innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions were developed, and as an Executive in Packaging Development at ITC Limited. Amit began a career in packaging at Lupin Pharmaceuticals as a Production Officer. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging from the Indian Institute of Packaging.
