Jan de Boer

Jan de Boer is a seasoned professional in hydrodynamic testing, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at MARIN since 2013, specializing in the design and maintenance of test facilities. With a wealth of experience spanning over three decades at MARIN, previous roles include Project Manager for the Depressurized Wave Basin, overseeing significant upgrades to testing capabilities, and leading the Production Support team responsible for measurement systems and facility maintenance. Jan de Boer has also managed various projects focused on CNC production techniques, model production, and the Deepwater towing tank, consistently contributing to advancements in model testing and analysis. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from HTS Haarlem.
